The How I Met Your Father season 2 trailer has hinted at a new friend for Ellen, which may be great news for the character. The latest sneak peek into the events of season 2 left audiences with a few new details to think about before the January 24th premiere, such as the number of new prospective dates for Sophie (and, therefore, candidates for the mysterious “father”). It also showed several more heartwarming moments between the main group How I Met Your Father, including Ellen, Jesse’s recently divorced younger sister.
