LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga – Every Minikit in A New Hope

There are five levels for each episode in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, and each one has five Minikits to collect, including the missions in A New Hope. Some of the Minikits are inaccessible in the first playthrough due to character restrictions, so players will need to repeat levels in order to collect all 25. Luckily, players can change their characters around while replaying missions so they don’t have to worry about starting with the right party.

Minikits are one of several collectibles to find in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. Finding a complete set will unlock a Microbuild Ship, like a mini Death Star, to fly around in. When using a Microbuild Ship, the currently selected character can be seen riding around on top of it. While mostly comical in nature, Microbuild Ships are good to use to find characters with side missions in space because bigger ships make it harder to aim at the NPC.

For those looking to find every Minikit in A New Hope, repeating a few missions with different characters in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will be necessary. Before starting a mission, players should make sure they’re in Free Play mode. Upon selecting a level that has already been completed in Story Mode, a prompt will pop up asking if players want to use Free Play. This mode allows players to build their own team and swap characters around as necessary to access every secret hidden in the level.

The only difficult Minikit to obtain in Boarding Party is the one that needs four Supercounters to be destroyed. This Minikit requires the most effort and exploration because of the extra work in tracking down the Supercounters. Finding all five Minikits in Boarding Party will unlock the Tantive IV Escape Pod (Micro).

  • Minikit #1: For this Minikit, players need to find four flying creatures called Supercounters throughout the ship, and they’re marked by small target symbols on the map in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. The first one is on the top floor of the ship that can be reached by grappling through a hole on the fourth floor. The Supercounter is at the end of a hallway of lightning traps. There’s a Supercounter past the hole that Leia falls in during the main story and through a door opened with a Hero Terminal. Before meeting with R2-D2, players can use a Jedi character to open the door past the stairs. At the end of the path, there’s another Supercounter. The last Supercounter can be found by going through that same door before meeting R2-D2 and turning left to access a room with a disco party going on. Grappling through the hole in the ceiling will lead to the last Supercounter.
  • Minikit #2: There’s a door to open with a Force-sensitive character in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, and it’s in a room with two areas separated by glass. Darth Vadar can be seen walking on the other side. Players can fall through the hole, then get past the lightning traps to reach the end of the hallway where a Minikit can be collected.
  • Minikit #3: In the disco party room visited earlier, players can use Mind Tricks to make everyone dance. Doing so will spawn the parts needed to build a Minikit.
  • Minikit #4: After using the hologram platform to open the door, Stormtroopers will break through another door on the left. There are four buttons to press simultaneously to access the Minikit, so players can use the Force to bring two objects over, then stand on the other buttons with their two active characters in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.
  • Minikit #5: The final Minikit is in the escape pod across from the level exit. When the door opens, there will be a lot of clutter to clear out. After destroying the clutter, the items left can be used to build a Minikit.

Hunk of Junk is a smaller level where players need to defend the Millennium Falcon until it’s ready to fly. The Minikits are fairly easy to obtain, but they can’t all be collected in the first playthrough. Finding all of the Minikits in this level will unlock the Millennium Falcon (Micro).

  • Minikit #1: There’s a Villain Terminal that can be used to unlock the large garage in this level. After opening it, players can ride a Gonk over to the brown platform to unlock a Minikit.
  • Minikit #2: There’s another garage in this level locked behind a Hero Terminal. A Hero character in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga can be used to open it, then players will need to push the two crates into position near the mechanical arms for a Minikit to appear in between them.
  • Minikit #3: In one of the spots where Stormtroopers appear, there’s a wall where a Scavenger can launch two nets and climb up and grab a Minikit.
  • Minikit #4: On the upper part of the level, there’s a room with four boxes and nothing else in it. Players can break apart the boxes to get the pieces they need to build a Minikit.
  • Minikit #5: There’s another small room on the upper level that has a Minikit floating in it. It’s behind one of the ladders used to climb up to the crane controls in the center.

Finding all the Minikits in Best Leia’d Plans in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga requires accessing parts of the ship that aren’t part of the main story. There are also a few droids to find around the ship in order to unlock one of the collectibles. The Imperial TIE Fighter (Micro) will be unlocked after finding all five Minikits.

  • Minikit #1: A Minikit can be found through the door on the right immediately after tricking the crew with a fake Darth Vadar and using the lift.
  • Minikit #2: There are three Mouse Droids roaming the halls of the ship that need to be destroyed to unlock the Minikit. The first one can be reached by going to the ledge on the first floor with a grapple point above it. The Mouse Droid will zoom around in a circle in this hall. Next, players can take the lift, then find a ladder to get to the next floor. Before moving on to beat this LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga level, another Mouse Droid can be found in the same area. Across from the ladder players used, there’s a wall that can be pulled down revealing the last Mouse Droid.
  • Minikit #3: On the same level as the second Mouse Droid for the previous collectible, there’s a Stormtrooper that takes a power cell. From one of the accessible ledges leading to the center of the ship, a Scoundrel can shoot down the crane and open another door to the center. Players can then use the zipline from the opened door to get across and press the button. This will open up an area where two Stormtroopers are watching television. Players can take the power cell from the wall and bring it to the door it was taken from, then the Minikit can be collected.
  • Minikit #4: From the zipline ledge, players can use a Scavenger character in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga to build a Glider and fly to the lower level on the left to collect a Minikit.
  • Minikit #5: In the same room as the third Mouse Droid, players can destroy the objects against the wall to get the pieces needed to build the last Minikit.

Collecting the Minikits in This is Some Rescue is relatively easy except for the one near the end of the level. Players will need to use a Scavenger to precisely shoot two nets the correct distance apart to reach a secret room on the top floor. This set of Minikits will unlock the Y-wing (Micro).

  • Minikit #1: As soon as the mission starts, there’s a Protocol Terminal nearby with the Docking Bay password. Players can get the password, then get to the section where they fight the Imperial Officer holding the keycard. Behind the Imperial Officer, there’s a door that can be unlocked with a Bounty Hunter. Inside the room, the Docking Bay code in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga can be used at the Protocol Terminal to the right revealing a Minikit.
  • Minikit #2: On the opposite side of the Docking Bay, a Force user can stack crates to reach the upper ledge. There’s a crate to cut a hole in using a Lightsaber, and the Minikit is inside.
  • Minikit #3: There are three Mouse Droids to destroy for a Minikit in this level. The first Mouse Droid is in the hallway at the beginning of the level where players chase down the Imperial Officer for a keycard. The second one is rolling around in the room where players first take over Luke and Leia. The last Mouse Droid is in the hallway just before the level ends.
  • Minikit #4: In the room where players take over Luke and Leia, there’s a terminal that can be used by a Villain character in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga to open the door and reveal a Minikit.
  • Minikit #5: The last Minikit can be found just before swinging across the gap to the end of the level. Using a Scavenger, players will need to shoot nets on the wall to the right to reach the upper ledge where the Minikit is.

Stay on Target is one of the few levels in the game in which all of the Minikits can be collected in the first playthrough. However, there are a few smaller objects to shoot in the first section that can be hard to spot. Finding the five Minikits in this level will unlock LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga‘s Death Star (Micro).

  • Minikit #1: In the first section of the level, there will be a mini TIE Fighter that can be shot for a Minikit.
  • Minikit #2: The mini TIE Fighter makes another appearance just before getting to the open section of the level. Players can shoot it for a second Minikit.
  • Minikit #3: About halfway through the first section, there’s a probe droid that can be shot for a Minikit. It can be hard to identify, so players may want to return after unlocking the skill that highlights Minikits.
  • Minikit #4: As soon as the cutscene showing Darth Vadar ends, players can turn left and shoot the glowing panel to reveal a Minikit.
  • Minikit #5: In the large area after Darth Vadar comes in, there are four satellites around the outer edge that need to be destroyed to earn the final Minikit.
