Famous director Martin Scorsese has a new film in the works about the popular singer Frank Sinatra, and the casting indicates the continuation of a four-movie trend between Scorsese and actor Leonardo DiCaprio. In 1967, Martin Scorsese directed his first film, Who’s That Knocking On My Door, and since then, he has been at the helm of 25 more movies, including 2023’s Best Picture nominee, Killers of the Flower Moon. Over the years, Scorsese has had certain actors return continuously in his films including Robert DeNiro and Leonardo DiCaprio, however their connections run deeper than just casting.
