The Skrulls have their own version of Blade–and he is far more brutal than the original. Blade is the Marvel Universe’s premiere vampire hunter, ruthlessly dispatching the undead with ease, and in 2009’s Avengers: The Initiative #16, readers meet Ryder, his Skrull equivalent. Like Blade, Ryder violently kills any Skrull he meets, but he actually takes it a step further by eating his victims.
