1000-lb Sisters stars Tammy Slaton and Amanda Halterman are more than just sisters, they’re also friends who spend a lot of time together. The series premiered in 2020 and centers around the weight loss journeys of 37-year-old Tammy and her 36-year-old sister, Amy Slaton. Several of the other Slaton siblings, including 43-year-old Amanda, have also lost a significant amount of weight over the years. Amanda didn’t appear on the show until season 4, because she was going through a divorce.
