Long awaited and highly anticipated, Percy Jackson And The Olympians is finally getting the long-form adaptation many were hoping for, but the upcoming series will face quite a few challenges. After Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightening Thief flopped for audiences and critics in 2010, it was somewhat predictable that, eventually, a new iteration would come along that would be true to the original material by Rick Riordan. However, while Disney’s Percy Jackson show sounds exciting, reigniting the franchise will not be easy.
