Guardian Angels have come.
We will be saved, the pedophiles
cautioned, the snuff-art locked away;
credit card scams careened in cyberspace.
Silwa will track down
the feral cybergangs and keep
all tendered innocents safe… Clinging
to silt, one more day, watching
the mariner sail away, the lipstick
doom descend, the polar bears rugged, I
still admire Silwa’s stalking grace: patrolling
crime, ferreting “ice,” cybertracing
gunlessly. Beached in a bikini, I
once watched surfers grace cruel heights
before privilized shortlines obscured the sea.
