Frozen 3 Now Has A Lot Of Pressure After Disney’s Franchise Lost The Crown It Held For 5 Years

The pressure’s on for Frozen 3 now after Inside Out 2’s record-breaking success. Inside Out 2 became the highest-grossing animated movie ever made in late July 2024, beating out Frozen II’s previous record of $1.45 billion. Inside Out 2’s impressive box office run has shown no signs of slowing down heading into August, recently rising above a worldwide total of $1.5 billion and climbing. As of the time of writing Inside Out 2 is the twelfth highest-grossing movie ever made and could very well crack into the top 10 before it leaves theaters, which would push out 2012’s The Avengers.
