As audiences await the next chapter of the show’s current era, a new piece of Doctor Who art is looking back on the Tenth Doctor and Rose Tyler’s emotional goodbye. Rose was the first companion of the series’ revival, portrayed by Billie Piper and starring alongside both Christopher Eccleston’s Ninth Doctor and David Tennant’s Tenth Doctor in its first two seasons, before returning in season 4. The Tenth Doctor and Rose grew closer in season 2, leading to a heartbreaking farewell in the two-part season finale “Army of Ghosts/Doomsday”.
