The official title reveal for Avatar 3 pays off something James Cameron has been teasing for years regarding his Disney sci-fi franchise. Avatar 3’s release date is set for December 2025, with the return to Pandora bigger and bolder than before. Since 2022’s enormously successful The Way of Water, the long-awaited sequel to the prolific 2009 movie, Cameron has been actively involved in furthering the franchise, with an intended three more installments to his epic saga.
