Captain America managed to prove Ultron wrong, and it made Chris Evans’ Marvel Cinematic Universe return impossible. Evans first appeared as Steve Rogers in 2011’s Captain America: The First Avenger, and throughout his long journey in the MCU, which culminated in 2019’s Avengers: Endgame, the actor helped Captain America become one of Marvel Studios’ most popular heroes, sharing the MCU’s spotlight with Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man. Since joining Marvel, Evans has appeared in three solo movies, four Avengers films and made cameos in multiple movies, which contributed to Evans appearing in at least one MCU movie per year from 2011 to 2019.
