Not long into my 30-day journey, I began to see what I now call the ‘ripple effect‘ of the 2-minute rule. It started with small, seemingly insignificant tasks, but it soon spread into more substantial aspects of my life.
Take my fitness routine for example. I had this habit of telling myself I’d go for a run or hit the gym later in the day. But as we all know, ‘later’ often never comes. The thought of spending an hour exercising felt overwhelming, and so it was easier to postpone it.
