Loki season 2 releases as part of Phase 5 ofthe MCU, with the Disney+ show revealing more about what the MCU’s future might look like. After meeting his demise at the hands of Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War, the Avengers’ Time Heist in Endgame unleashed a variant of Tom Hiddleston’s God of Mischief on the MCU, and Loki season 1 saw him exploring the world of the Time Variance Authority (TVA), and coming face-to-face with Jonathan Majors’ He Who Remains. If the Loki season 1 ending cliffhanger is anything to go by, season 2 will bring another helping of time travel drama to the MCU.
