American Idol season 22 was one of the best yet with so much extraordinary talent, but Mia Matthews will be the breakout star. Mia, a 19-year-old from Centre, Alabama, earned her golden ticket to Hollywood after singing “No Place That Far” by Sara Evans. The judges–Lionel Richie, Katy Perry, and Luke Bryan–also sent Mia’s sister, Jacy, to Hollywood, when they auditioned together. However, Jacy was eliminated during Hollywood Week, while Mia went on to make it to the Top 10 of American Idol season 22.
