Terminator Zero, Netflixs upcoming Terminator animated show, can give the franchise something it has been missing since 1991s Terminator 2: Judgment Day. From 2003s Terminator: Rise of the Machines to 2019s Terminator: Dark Fate, the Terminator saga has struggled to replicate the impact of its first two films. It is no exaggeration to say that none of the Terminator movies released after T2 came close to being as good as Judgment Day, to the point the future of the franchise on the big screen is unclear.
