Helldivers 2 managed to take the video game industry by storm in early 2024 but those who missed the hype train now have the perfect opportunity to jump on board with the game’s first major discount. With its emphasis on explosive cooperative play and tongue-in-cheek humor satirizing the industrial military complex, Helldivers 2 proved to be a massive success for Arrowhead Studios and PlayStation, especially given that it launched on PS5 and PC simultaneously. Despite some questionable balance issues and Sony’s major PSN blunder, the shooter is still one of the most played on Steam and PlayStation.
