Great stories need great conclusions, and so many almost-great films were ruined by the worst movie endings. The final few minutes of a movie greatly determine whether audiences will leave in high spirits and recommend it to others or rue the hours of their lives they just wasted. Even a movie that pleased audiences throughout its running time can have many fans turn on it with an ending that no one liked or expected. It doesn’t matter how great the first 90 minutes of a movie is, if it doesn’t stick the landing, the film will have a totally different legacy.
