Although The Boys is an adaptation of Garth Ennis’ comic book series, the TV show changes all kinds of elements, introducing entirely new storylines and characters that better suit the satirical story the Amazon Prime series is trying to tell. However, these changes mean that some big moments from The Boys comic books don’t work, with season 3’s big Soldier Boy twist completely changing the comic book dynamic between him and Homelander.
