From the moment Walter White (Bryan Cranston) first dons his meth-making gear in Breaking Bad‘s pilot episode, the show makes good use of the tensions that come with his new career. The end of Breaking Bad‘s first episode alone is enough to leave viewers on edge as sirens approach a half-naked, gun-toting Walt before blowing right by him and his RV.
