My Brief Journey into Traditional Publishing
Earlier this year, I decided to give the traditional publishing route a fair shot. I didn’t just send a few emails and hope for the best. I researched the process. I studied successful query letters. I prepared what I believed to be a compelling pitch package. I carefully selected twenty literary agents who represented historical fiction and seemed like good fits for The Secret Life of Jacqueline. Then I submitted my query.
And I waited.
