Unlock the Future: Discover How Responsible AI Is Transforming Industries at CCC’s Free LinkedIn Live Event on October 30
CCC hosted the LinkedIn Live event ‘AI & Copyright: Recent Litigation Themes’ in September 2025 for professionals in publishing, AI technology, and business. The online event featured an examination of the types of claims and the defenses being raised in recent AI-related copyright litigation, as well as how courts are viewing issues such as market harm, data sources, guardrails, and the evolving legal theories surrounding transformative use.
CCC advocates for copyright worldwide by engaging governments, stakeholders, and individuals with educational programming, thought leadership resources, and through its online hub, AI, Copyright & Licensing. In July 2024, CCC announced the availability of AI rights for internal corporate use within its Annual Copyright License (ACL), an enterprise-wide content licensing solution offering companies an efficient way to obtain rights to use copyrighted materials within AI systems. The license provides users with a harmonized set of internal use AI rights from a broad range of rightsholders and remunerates rightsholders for these new uses of their content. In March 2025, CCC announced the launch of a new AI systems training license for the external use of copyrighted works.
