Meet the Contributor
Heather Gemmen Wilson is the author of over 20 books, including the memoir Startling Beauty. A former book editor, she holds an MA in creative writing from Ball State University and an MFA in creative nonfiction from Ashland University. Her work has appeared in various literary journals and been recognized as a Notable Essay in Best American Essays and Memoir Magazine. She has also been nominated for a Pushcart Prize.
