But here’s the thing about building a platform: I think it’s very important to recognize your strengths, and I am super good with groups of people, and so for me to get on the phone and book myself as a writing teacher for writing workshops, as a speaker at events, I know how to do that. I’ve done it before, and I’ve done a lot of public speaking, so I knew that I didn’t need someone to help me with that.
