
Jess Phoenix is a volcanologist, television and podcast host, horse trainer, and writer. Her work has taken her to six continents via exploring undersea volcanoes, rappelling into sinkholes, and investigating ancient civilizations. She is a Fellow in the Explorers Club and author of the AAAS/Subaru Prize for Excellence in Science Books Finalist memoir
