You Won’t Believe the Jaw-Dropping Weight of This Deer – Brian Whiddon Reveals the Shocking Details!
Now, deer priorities are different than ours. I wasn’t thinking that the deer would think it’s a nasty day or that they would be uncomfortable. Heck, I’ve seen them moving in rain downpours and heavy snowstorms. (Heavy for here at least.)
However, in heavy wind, everything is moving around. It’s hard for a deer to see a predator stalking them at any distance. Also, deer are equipped with super noses. The slightest mistake in scent management can give a hunter away when a deer 75 yards distant gets just a tiny whiff of human scent. With a gentle breeze, the deer knows exactly what direction the threat is in. But with a tempest such as I was sitting in, that scent would be scattered all over the place. Deer don’t like to be scent-blind.
