The 2010s saw the Avengers fracturing and rebuilding after several hero vs hero crossover events such as Avengers vs. X-Men, Secret Wars, and Civil War II. Each time the roster changed significantly, with many ancillary teams being created in the process: the Secret Avengers, the New Avengers, the Avengers Unity Squad, the Uncanny Avengers, the Avengers Academy etc. However, amidst the chaos, Earth’s Mightiest Heroes added some true heroes to their roster.
