After becoming one of the better-reviewed installments in the franchise, Blue Beetle has become the subject of Screen Rant‘s latest Pitch Meeting episode. The second-to-last installment of the DC Extended Universe introduces audiences to Jaime Reyes, a college graduate who becomes the host of the alien artifact, the Scarab, and must prevent power-hungry business mogul Victoria Kord from getting her hands on the technology. Helmed by Charm City Kings‘ Ángel Manuel Soto and led by Xolo Maridueña, the movie has garnered largely favorable reviews from critics and audiences alike, seemingly putting DC back on track after a string of misfires.
