With the excitement about Amazon Prime’s upcoming Fallout TV show comes the question of when it will take place and where it will fall in the video game franchise’s timeline. After years of rumors, the post-apocalyptic first-person shooter RPG is getting a live-action adaptation spearheaded by directors Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy. While video game adaptations were once considered a career-ending mistake, recent movie and TV video game adaptations prove the curse is dead. The Fallout franchise also has superb world-building and lore that are the perfect foundation for a TV series.
