Synopsis? “Sat with it?” In other words, not only did she NOT read my book, but she also did not read the synopsis. I’m not sure what “I sat with it” means, but I suspect my English teacher in high school wouldn’t have given me a passing grade for “I didn’t read Moby Dick, but I sat with it.” Did I say this to “Heather?” No. That would have been sarcastic.
