RH: Yeah!
HMM: What advice do you have for writers who want to write about science for a more general audience?
RH: I think it’s always good to find a way in to the subject that is going to hold the hand of the reader a little bit, bring them into it in some way, telling a personal story or a story of another person. Make it human in some way. A lot of science can otherwise feel cold or inaccessible. So if there’s a human story to tell, even if you’re just using it as a way of getting in, that’s always a good way to grab someone to bring them into it.
