Midway through Dizzy: A Memoir (West Virginia University Press; 2025), an alternately excruciating and lyrical memoir of being lost for 18 years in the complexities of a hard to diagnose medical condition, Rachel Weaver runs into a fellow patient at one of the innumerable clinics where she seeks succor.
