M/36/6’4 [285 - 195] 8 months progress

Bit of an update from my 6 month post back in January.

This is for anyone who needs an extra push. This can be done in 6 months without any meds or TRT.

For my diet I just ate in a calorie deficit consistently. Foods included eggs, sandwiches, cereal, chicken, lean beef, rice , yogurt as well as protein products (powder, bars, pancakes) sometimes I would eat pizza or lasagna or similar and just portion control and plan it into my day to still fall within my calorie and protein goal.

For training I follow a generic 5 day bodybuilding style split. Legs/back/arms/chest/shoulders. 6-10 sets per muscle group with a rep range of 8-12 going to failure plus some partials if the exercise allows. My goal is to train daily which I’m usually able to do.

For cardio I walk on the treadmill every morning at max incline for 20 minutes followed by either ab work or another accessory type movement (rotator cuff work for example)

Goals going forward are to continue to cut down to where I’m very lean then start bulking. Probably after summer at this point.
