Bumblebee set up three Autobots to show up in Transformers: Rise Of The Beasts that appear to be missing from the seventh film in the Transformers franchise. The prequel to the 2007 film Transformers took a lighter approach than previous films in the series, aiming to recapture the light-hearted magic and adventure of the popular ’80s cartoon, and its sequel, directed by Steven Caple Jr. and produced by Michael Bay and Lorenzo di Bonaventura, is expanding on the nostalgia of the ’90s by including new characters like Maximals and Predacons from the animated series Beast Wars: Transformers.
