A behind-the-scenes video focusing on the initial development of Grogu’s character from The Mandalorian season 1 reveals the secrets behind the loveable Baby Yoda. Dubbed as such in season 1, Baby Yoda eventually became The Mandalorian‘s Grogu through backstory flashbacks and other developments. However, the creature was as much a mystery to those at Lucasfilm during the production of The Mandalorian season 1 as it was to Star Wars fans. While The Mandalorian season 4’s story is set to further Grogu’s exploration, the physical release of The Mandalorian season 1 on 4K UHD has allowed a video to surface detailing Grogu’s conception.
