The classic 1971 family musical adapted from Roald Dahl’s novel saw Gene Wilder take on the role of the eccentric chocolatier who welcomes five children into his factory for a mysterious prize. Stanley Kubrick’s acclaimed 1980 horror feature The Shining brought Stephen King’s tale of a troubled writer to screen, as Jack Torrance slowly loses his mind when caretaking the ominous mountainside Overlook Hotel.
