You Won’t Believe What’s Coming Next for Go Into The Story Fans!
Ever since I was fortunate enough to become a working screenwriter–I’ve been paid to write over 30 projects at nearly every major Hollywood movie studio and broadcast TV network–and knowing how hard it is to break into the business as an outsider, I felt a calling to help aspiring screenwriters however I could.
Go Into The Story is an example of that commitment. It’s why when Franklin Leonard approached me about my blog–he was a big fan from early on–I agreed for it to become the official screenwriting blog of the Black List. Franklin and I share a similar vision: Create new paths into Hollywood for screenwriters especially those well outside the system. It’s why I helped to originate the annual Black List feature writing labs and have been a mentor at 27 of those events over the years.
