FFXIV: How to Unlock The Pandaemonium Raid | Screen Rant

Once players have completed the incredible storyline of Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker, the next portion of content they might want to move onto is the brand-new Level 90 Raid series, The Pandaemonium. The series will contain a total of 12 Raids split into three chapters. The first is Asphodelos, which includes the first four Circles/Raids of The Pandaemonium. As of the current patch, Asphodelos is the only chapter available in FFXIV, but players can expect the two upcoming chapters to be released as the game receives its updates in 2022. Additionally, fans will be able to participate in the Savage difficulty of The Pandaemonium Raids in Patch 6.05.

To access The Pandaemonium in Final Fantasy XIV, players must fulfill a few requirements. The first and most significant prerequisite is that Asphodelos only becomes available after the entire Main Scenario questline of Endwalker has been completed. The story alone is approximately 50-70 hours of playtime, depending on the player’s pacing. There is also a host of distracting yet engaging side content to enjoy within all the new regions in FFXIV: Endwalker. Consequently, those solely focused on reaching the endgame Raids must prioritize finishing the main story.

Once the main story has been completed, FFXIV fans can unlock The Pandaemonium by speaking to a Lalafell named Nemjiji located in Old Sharlayan at X:10, Y:12. She will provide the quest, “The Crystal from Beyond,” a Level 90 quest that will grant access to the questline for Asphodelos.

FFXIV players who have yet to finish previous expansions, such as Stormblood or Shadowbringers, cannot access The Pandaemonium until they’ve concluded all of Final Fantasy XIV’s story. While it is recommended to take one’s time enjoying the character development and plot in FFXIV, there will be those whose main enjoyment in the game is Raiding. In this case, the optimal way to get through the storyline is by purchasing “Tales of Adventure / Main Scenario Progression” packs from the Final Fantasy XIV Online Store. Since the release of Endwalker, players can now obtain a skip boost for the Shadowbringers expansion. It is important to note that once players finally make it to The Pandaemonium Raid, they will need an Item Level of 565 to enter.

The gear pieces that FFXIV players can obtain from The Pandaemonium are likely the best equipment available in the game. Asphodelos is an endgame Raid, which means specific loot rules will be applied to rolling for armor and weaponry. After defeating the bosses of a Raid in FFXIV, players will receive one unique token. There are four available Circles, allowing players to obtain four tokens a week. Rewards will reset weekly on Tuesday at midnight PST. To exchange these tokens for items, speak to Mylenie in Labyrinthos at X:8.3, Y:27.6 or Djole in Radz-at-Han at X:10.3, Y:9.6.
