How To Get (& Use) Silver Coins in V Rising | Screen Rant

Silver Coins is a currency in V Rising used for purchasing goods from NPC Merchants found within three of the five regions in Vardoran. Two of these NPCs wander through the first two areas of the game, while the third remains stationary inside a shop within the late-game province. To get Silver Coins in V Rising, Vampire adventurers can perform scavenging activities such as fishing or rummaging through trunks and crates. Lootable containers such as shelves, cabinets, chests, and Golden Chests can be found within camps, houses, and more substantial residential areas such as the districts of Brighthaven.

Another way to get a serviceable amount of Silver Coins in V Rising is by hunting down and slaying the NPC Merchants. This option is entirely risk-free since there is no reputation system and Merchants respawn like V Blood Carriers. However, keep in mind that these traders are often guarded by a small brigade of sentries. Furthermore, the Merchants themselves can put up a decent fight. Nevertheless, the vendors’ defeat should net players some Silver Coins for their combative efforts.

However, before bloodthirsty adventurers can partake in doing business with the Merchants of Vardoran, they need to fulfill two prerequisites. First, players must learn how to deal with Silver Sickness, a harmful status effect in V Rising that drains Vampires of their HP as long as Silver is in their inventory. Second, fans must appear human-like to speak with NPC traders through a special Vampire Power called Human Form.

To get started, Vampires of V Rising can combat Silver Sickness by wearing a particular garb or consuming specific alchemic beverages. There are several pieces of clothing that offer Silver Resistance, such as Hunter’s Cloak or Hermit’s Shawl. As for consumables, players can drink the Silver Resistance Potion, a concoction that boosts Silver immunity for a 20-minute duration. This potion’s Recipe is acquired by slaying Raziel the Shepherd of the Dunley Monastery.

Next, looking like a human is essential for making purchases from Merchants in V Rising, as they will attack Vampires on sight without hesitation. Human Form can be acquired by consuming the V Blood of Beatrice the Tailor, a Carrier that resides in Dawnbreak Village. Once players have the means to stave off the Silver Sickness and can turn into a human, they will be able to do business with the vendors of Vardoran. Here is a list of three Merchants in V Rising:
