Jensen Ackles details how he got cast in The Boys season 3 as Solider Boy, explaining how he had to fight for the role. With the hit Prime Video series set to return for a fourth season, there’s a lot of speculation over whether Ackles will return as Soldier Boy in a main character capacity. Part of that is due to the Boys season 3 cliffhanger, which leaves Soldier Boy back in his capsule but very alive, not to mention the complicated history shared with Homelander. It’s also because Ackles is a popular television veteran, going back to his long run as Dean Winchester on Supernatural.
