New Grayson, Flash & Teen Titans Omnibuses Coming To DC Fans

It has been announced that DC Comics will be collecting a series of titles in new omnibuses, such as Grayson, New Teen Titans, The Flash, Fables, and several more. The collections include several fan favorite runs on comics that have never been brought together in one printing before.

In the expanding DC Universe, there are many beloved comics that have been long out of print and have become difficult to obtain. With the digital comics platform DC Universe Infinite, comic book readers have had new opportunity to find old comics that are no longer available. However, many traditional fans still prefer to hold the comics they read. Although print comics can take up a lot of room, and digital comics on platforms like Comixology, Marvel Unlimited, or DC Universe Infinite are typically the modern day answer to the issue, omnibuses are another solution.

DC Comics will be releasing a new line of omnibuses later this year, including Sleeper: Omnibus (2022 Edition), Grayson: The Superspy Omnibus (2022 Edition), The Flash by Mark Waid Omnibus Volume 1, Wonder Woman by George Perez Omnibus (2022 Edition), New Teen Titans Omnibus Volume 1 (2022 Edition), House of Mystery: The Bronze Age Omnibus Volume 3, Harley Quinn & The Gotham City Sirens Omnibus (2022 Edition), Brightest Day Omnibus (2022 Edition), Animal Man Omnibus (2022 Edition), and the Fables 20th Anniversary Box Set. Writer Ed Brubaker and artist Sean Phillips’ Sleeper is one of the lesser known titles among the list of superheroes, and seems to improve upon a previous omnibus from 2013. In contrast, fan favorite Grayson is the second version of an omnibus from the series, collecting the first twenty issues, Grayson: Futures End #1, Secret Origins #8, Grayson Annual #1-3, Nightwing: Rebirth #1, along with Robin War #1 and #2.

Iconic DC writer Mark Waid’s run on The Flash allows longtime fans and new readers alike to see his revolutionary take. The book is comprised of The Flash #62-91, The Flash Annual #4-6, Green Lantern #30, #31, #40, and The Flash Special #1. Similarly, New Teen Titans is a beloved iteration of the teenage super team from the 1980s by George Perez, and the upcoming omnibus edition will contain the first fifteen issues along with DC Comics Presents #26. The retro take on the New Teen Titans united Robin, Raven, Starfire, Cyborg, Beast Boy, and Kid Flash. Perez’s Wonder Woman comes from the same era, but it has not yet been specified which issues it will feature.

Harley Quinn & The Gotham City Sirens has been an often underrated series, with the omnibus bringing together the first twenty six issues, along with Catwoman #83. House of Mystery continues to omnibus series with issues #227-254. Celebrating Fables’ 20th Anniversary, a box set will collect the series for $240. It hasn’t been specified yet which issues Grant Morrison’s Animal Man omnibus or Brightest Day will include. However, more details are certain to be announced by DC Comics later this year.
