Control Isn’t About Ego
One criticism often leveled at independent authors is that they simply want to control everything. There is probably some truth to that for some writers. Every manuscript I publish is professionally edited because every book deserves the benefit of experienced eyes. The same applies to cover design, formatting, proofreading, and marketing advice.
