Unveiling the Hidden Struggles and Radical Love Behind Carework: An Exclusive Interview with Jennifer Case
EW: You find healing in nature and offer it your care in return. How would you describe this relationship?
JC: Even more than nature offering me care, nature is a place where the boundaries between me and others (other humans, other species, other life forms) soften, and I get a sense of that vast interconnectedness. When I spend time hiking or kayaking or sitting near a shore, I can feel myself as simply another being on this planet…as worthy and valuable as the frog sitting near me or the fern in the brush.
