Inside the Collapse: What Traditional Publishers Don’t Want You to Know About Their Imminent Demise
Traditional publishing is losing ground every year. The entire old business model was upended by computers, advanced software, the digital printing industry, Amazon, and other factors. It’s only a matter of time before they follow the likes of Kodak, Blockbuster, Borders, and (we couldn’t leave this one out) the Gutenberg Press.
According to Google: “Heavily reliant on slow, archaic systems, the (traditional publishing) legacy industry struggles to reach high sales volumes for most authors while simultaneously losing ground to the highly lucrative and flexible self-publishing market.”
