From a WritersWeekly reader: “Please look into Fawcett Publications. They are a big scam company that basically lie about everything.” Oh, man. Where to start? They hysterically claim to have 100M+ books for sale in stores and online. They also claim to have 19 New York Times Bestsellers. All for a website that was just registered in 2024! What a crock of you know what!! Virtual offices are located at both of their “U.S. addresses.” When Googling one of their addresses, this pops up: Penguin Book Writers / penguinbookwriters.com (also on this list, and related to even more websites on this list!). Committing several violations on THIS LIST. From Trustpilot: “Paid them three thousand dollars in January 2023 to join their display at a book fair. Their participation in the fair was cancelled, and nine months later, I have yet to receive a refund.” – Andrew
