Scott: You mentioned sketch writing. Didn’t you do some TV writing?
Greg: I did, yes. Fresh out of undergrad, I answered a Craigslist ad, which is usually never a good idea. But this one was for this small TV station called Bite TV. It no longer exists and I think it was broadcast all across Canada, and they were looking for writers for a late night talk show. It was called The Week Show with Matt Chin, who was this very talented young host, and it was just me and another writer and Matt and his announcer. We came up with all the ideas for a few episodes, and we had an extremely low budget – and this was Canadian dollars, so the exchange rate was killing us. But it was a lot of fun and a great first sort of foray into writing something that actually got made.
